In a new escalation of Turkish aggression on Syrian territory, Turkish warplanes and drones launched airstrikes on various areas in northeast Syria, targeting infrastructure and civilian facilities.
The raids resulted in dozens of casualties, including martyrs and wounded civilians, in addition to significant material damage to public and private property.
Since the morning of Wednesday, October 4, 2023, the Turkish army launched a series of attacks over three days on more than 40 sites with warplanes launched from the airport of the Turkish city of Diyarbakir and drones from several military bases in Turkey. These warplanes and drones penetrated the airspace of the regions of northeast Syria, targeting numerous sites, including infrastructure, service facilities, gas and oil stations, and civilian properties. The aggression affected populated areas in the region.
Targets of Turkish Warplanes and Drones:
On October 4, a building materials and brick factory in the Al-Safiya area in the city of Al-Hasakah was targeted, resulting in 4 injuries among the workers.
On October 4, a car in the Al-Hasakah area in the Al-Ghuwayran neighbourhood was targeted, resulting in the death of two citizens.
On October 5, the industrial zone at the Darbasiyah/Tal Tamr junction was targeted, resulting in the burning of a diesel tank and the injury of 3 workers.
A farm in Msheirefa Hama, north of the city of Al-Hasakah, was targeted, wounding 3 people.
The vicinity of Washukanni camp in the town of Tuwaina, west of the city of Al-Hasakah, was targeted with three strikes at different times within hours. This led to the cessation of the work of all 12 humanitarian organizations inside the camp.

The vicinity of the water transfer station in the village of Al-Rakba on the Al-Hasakah road, south of the city of Tal Tamr, was targeted, resulting in material damage.
On October 5, Turkish warplanes launched airstrikes on the Ouda Oil Station site in the town of Tarbesbeyeh/Al-Qahtaniyah in Qamishli Province. The bombing led to fires in the station and the destruction of some equipment and tanks. No reports of human casualties have been received so far. The Ouda Oil Station is considered one of the most important energy sources in the region, providing fuel to neighbouring cities and villages.
Local sources reported that a Turkish drone attacked the Jal Agha/Jawadiya Dam in the city of Hasakah on the evening of Thursday, October 5. The sources stated that the attack caused material damage to the dam and some adjacent facilities. The dam supplies large areas of Hasakah with water and electricity, and the attack aims to undermine stability and security in the region.
Local sources also reported that a Turkish drone targeted the village of Al-Tawila in the western countryside of the city of Tal Tamr, north of Al-Hasakah, causing material damage to homes and farms. The bombing continued for several minutes without resulting in any human casualties.
The targeting of a facility in the village of Tal Habash in the countryside of the city of Amuda, resulting in the death of 6 members of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) and the injury of 2 others while performing their duties.
A car repair shop was targeted in the village of Qasef, southwest of the Sarrin district in Kobani canton, with three shells.
The targeting of a second oil site attacked by a Turkish drone in the Kardahol area, southwest of Tarbesbeyeh/Al-Qahtaniyah. The attack led to a fire breaking out at the site, and several workers were injured.
The targeting of a third site at the Saeeda oil station in the northern countryside of the Tarbesbeyeh/Al-Qahtaniyah district.
A Turkish drone destroyed the main power station in the north of the city of Qamishli. This attack resulted in a power outage in the areas surrounding the city and caused panic among the civilian population.
A motorcycle was targeted on the international road in the village of Kharab Ishk, 45 km southeast of the city of Kobani.
The Western Dam electricity transfer station, west of the city of Al-Hasakah, was targeted.
The Amuda power station, which supplies electrical current to the Darbasiyah station and the wells of the Alouk station, was targeted.
The Odeh Gas Station east of the town of Tarbesbeyeh/Al-Qahtaniyah was targeted.
Drones and warplanes targeted the vicinity of the city of Derik three times.
The Taqle Baqal Oil Station, Katibeh Derik, and the village of Semalka were targeted by Turkish drones and warplanes.
The infrastructure of Jabal Abdul Aziz/Kazwan in the city of Hasakah was targeted, resulting in material damage.

Final statistics within two days of Turkish attacks in the region (04.10 - 05.10.2023):
The strikes targeted 32 points in various areas, affecting electrical generation stations, oil facilities, clinics, industrial areas, and civilian centres such as the radio station and the financial headquarters. Additionally, the attacks reached the vicinity of the Washukanni and Roj camps, as well as several villages. These assaults resulted in severe material damage and led to the loss of 13 lives, including 5 in the countryside of Kobani, and caused 6 injuries.
